THIRST celebrates the vessels and accessories that facilitate our enjoyment of summertime drinks through the display of both functional and decorative works. THIRST showcases local, national and international artists working in a number of materials–including David Clarke’s intimate Ever So Slightly Sloshed 2 pewter cup, Cheyenne Mallo’s tufted ceramic mugs, Rebecca Arday’s and David Schnukel’s vintage inspired soda pop glass, and Sandie Zilker’s 3d printed Dot Shot .
Finally getting around to posting some pictures from this past February's woodfiring in Fredericksburg, TX. It is always a pleasure to spend the weekend with such talented artists and a truly amazing group of people, Diana Kersey, Marian Haigh, Finn Alban, Michael Soto, Lynn Wolfe, and Autumn Scott.
I just finished working on this project with Press Coffee, a local coffee shop in San Antonio, TX. It was a pleasure collaborating with a local small business that recognizes and appreciates the importance of handmade objects in our daily lives.
